Psalm 148
148 Praise the Lord! Praise the Lord from the heavens; Praise Him in the heights! 2 Praise Him, all His angels; Praise Him, all His hosts! 3 Praise Him, sun and moon; Praise Him, all you stars of light! 4 Praise Him, you heavens of heavens, And you waters above the heavens! 5 Let them praise the name of the Lord, For He commanded and they were created. 6 He also established them forever and ever; He made a decree which shall not pass away. 7 Praise the Lord from the earth, You great sea creatures and all the depths; 8 Fire and hail, snow and clouds; Stormy wind, fulfilling His word; 9 Mountains and all hills; Fruitful trees and all cedars; 10 Beasts and all cattle; Creeping things and flying fowl; 11 Kings of the earth and all peoples; Princes and all judges of the earth; 12 Both young men and maidens; Old men and children. 13 Let them praise the name of the Lord, For His name alone is exalted; His glory is above the earth and heaven. 14 And He has exalted the horn of His people, The praise of all His saints—Of the children of Israel, A people near to Him. Praise the Lord!
This great song of Hallelujah describes a major choir of the universe, where all creatures simultaneously praise the creator with full power and grandeur. How magnificent! We can see that the poet follows God's order of creation here. First, creatures in heavens (including His angels, sun, moon and stars) are invited to praise the wondrous creation of the Lord (verses 1-6). Hallelujah! "The worlds were framed by the word of God" (Hebrews 11:3). For God "spoke, and it was done; He commanded, and it stood fast" (Psalms 33:9).
Then all creatures on the earth (including oceans, mountains, plants and animals) are invited to praise the Lord (verses 7-10). Finally, all men are invited to praise and honor the glory of the Lord, no matter what position, place and age. Because only "men" were created in God's own image, can come close to Him and become His beloved ones. Thanks be to the Lord! "He has exalted the horn of His people", for we "were precious in His sight" (Isaiah 43:4a).
Considering the wonderfulness of being created, His love to bleed and die for us, and all His graces, are you looking forward to accepting the poet's invitation to join in the great worship team of the universe!? :-)

這首偉大的哈利路亞詩章，陳列出一個宇宙的大詩班，在這裡氣勢磅礡地同聲讚美這位創造主的權能，真是何等的雄偉壯觀啊！我們看見詩人依照 神創造宇宙萬物的順序，首先邀請在天上的一切受造（包括：神的使者和日月星辰）一起讚美 神的奇妙創造。(1-6節) 哈利路亞！「諸世界是藉神話造成的」（來11:3 ），因為 神「說有，就有；命立，就立。 」（詩33:9）
緊接著，詩人邀請在地上的一切萬物（包括：海洋、山、植物、動物）一起來讚美 神。(7-10節)，最後，他力邀人類，不論什麼地位、身份、年齡，所有的人都當前來讚美與尊崇 神的榮耀！因為只有“人” 是按著 神的形像被創造的，所以得以親近祂，並成為蒙愛的對象。感謝主！「祂將祂百姓的角高舉 」，因祂看我們 「為寶為尊」（賽43:4 a）。
